Unbox & Inspect
Open the package and inspect the tamper-evident seal. Genuine devices arrive sealed — stop and verify if anything looks altered.

Connect & Power
Connect your Trezor with the supplied cable to a trusted computer or phone. The device will boot and show a welcome screen prompting you to start the setup flow.

Install Official Suite
Use the official companion app to install firmware and create a wallet. Always download software from the manufacturer’s official source and verify the download when offered.

Create Device PIN
Choose a PIN you can remember but not easily guessed. The PIN protects the device even if it is lost or stolen.

Write Down Recovery Seed
Carefully write your recovery words on the provided card or a durable backup. Store this backup offline in at least one secure location — it’s the only way to recover funds if the device is lost.

Verify & Finish
Confirm the on-device fingerprint or checksum shown by the app, verify firmware authenticity, and sign a small test transaction to ensure everything functions correctly.
